I have been an Eagles fan for all of my life, they broke up in 1980 and I had to wait another 14 years before I could go see them, and I did! There were 3 of us that went to the show. In addition to Teri, my housemate, Mike Schwarz went to the show with us. Opening for the Eagles was a new musician, Sheryl Crow. Since seeing her open the show, Teri and I have been fans ever since and have seen her a few times.
The show was fantastic! It was a great mix of Eagles songs and various solo songs by the band members that have been released since they last played together. They played a lot of music this night. I didn't know it would last so long.
The weird personal thing at the show, sitting next to us was one of my coworkers, Terri, who at one time I had asked to go out, but she said she didn't date people she worked with. Her date to the show, a co-worker. At the end of the we were leaving and the Metro was crazy, I offered to give them a ride back to the New Carrolton station (it was on the way).
