This is one of MANY Little Feat shows I will see over the
years. This was on their comeback album, ‘Let It Roll’. For a lot of the
artists that I will see in my life, many times it’s the second coming of the
bands from the 1960’s and 1970’s. Little Feat was no different. Their lead
singer and songwriter, Lowell George, passed away in 1979 and the band reformed
in 1986. They dusted off some old songs and wrote a few new ones for this
album. While not from Maryland, it was their adopted home. They recorded many
parts of their live album in Washington DC, and recorded at a studio in Maryland.
They played extensively around the state in the 70’s. It was almost like you
had to go out of your way NOT to see them in the area in the 1970’s.
Dave and Cindy Brown attended the show with me. I believe this was their first concert as a married couple!

Opening on the show was a gal from Kansas, Melissa Etheridge.
I really liked her in 1987 and have
become a big fan over the years. I have seen her quote a few times, as you will
see.
