John Mellencamp came around the area supporting his abloom,The Lonesome Jubilee. This was the follow-up to his his highly acclaimed album Scarecrow. It seemed to be a pattern with Americana artists that struck it big, the follow up is an introspective album as The Lonesome Jubilee is. This album did not lack hits and Mellencamp put on a great show. Dave, Cindy, and I attended the show and we had a great time!
