Now with my newly discovered love of concerts, I was on a roll with some great show! Well, good good things must end. Synyrd released a come back album, Swamp Music. This was a series of retreads to basically have a reason to tour. Just some background on this show, it went along okay, but they took an intermission and GrandPa Skynyrd came out and told a sob story about one of the last remaining original band members in a hospital, and passed the hat for his medical bills. This is the only concert I have ever been where the band asks for more money for a band member in the middle of the show. It just put a damper on the whole show.Wednesday, August 5, 2020
