19881020 Robert Plant/Joan Jett

I kind of had a date for this concert. Janice Benedict and I went to the show together. We had worked together until I got laid off the previous August. We had both worked the night shift, and I had asked if she wanted to go see Robert Plant (former lead singer of Led Zeppelin) more of a fiend than anything, no one else I knew wanted to go. But she was about 15 years older than I was and was in a steady relationship. It didn't happen. Some things work out for the better.
As for the show, I am a big Joan Jett fan and was thrilled when she was the opening act. I loved her opening set. As for the headliner, he didn't disappoint. As you can see from the setlist, he played a nice smattering of Led Zep songs in the mix with his solo songs.
