Ladies and Gentlemen this is The Rolling Stones!
With the susses of The Who earlier in the year, the Stones put out a new album and got back out on the road for what would be their biggest tour yet!
Some background on this show. I kind of had a 'date' to the show, but what a mess. I bought 6 tickets (I think that was the maximum). I took my brother Chuck and my 'date' Michelle, who was a total mess. The other 3 tickets were for Janice Benedict, her live-in boyfriend, and another lady we worked with. But I messed up the second part. I was suppose to meet Janice on the way to Philly to give her the tickets, but we didn't meet. We missed each other and we never met up. I felt really bad. I ended up selling her tickets in the parking lot in Philly.
My date went fine. She was a friend of my sister and was hanging around the house that summer with my sister and she asked me to get her a ticket and I stupidly did. My brother liked to drink at the show, and he did. While I was selling the extra tickets to the show, I told him to meet me at the seats. Well I didn't see him the whole show. Michelle stuck to me like glue.
After the show I went to my car and waited a while, then drove around the nearly empty lot looking for him. No luck on either. It was now after 1:00AM. It was time to go home. Sorry Chuck, I left him in Philly.
The next morning he called and he ended up taking a train back to Baltimore where I picked him up and we had a laugh about it and still laugh about it.
