19930613 Firehouse/Damn Yankees/Poison

In 1993 I decided to pick up a concert subscription a Merriweather. This was one of the shows that was part of it. Maybe I should have bought two tickets, but when I subscribed, I wasn't seeing anyone and there were no prospects on the horizon. Well, as it would happen, I started dating this girl, Teresa (Teri) Thomason in May, 1993. But I had the single tickets to the shows. Not really a big deal, Teri had no desire to see any other bands on the list.
For this show, Poison was the top bill. The band Damn Yankees was suppose to be a super group, that just didn't happen. When Ted Nugent makes fun of the previous work, "Styx had a bunch of faggy songs that we usually end up having to play." I wonder why there was never a follow up album after their first effort. Other than that little comment, a pretty good show over all.
